Paris Attack: 15 Confirmed Dead At Eagles Of Death Metal Concert In Paris

15 people have been shot dead at an Eagles of Death Metal concert in Paris as part of a terrorist attack that has swept the city. A further 100 have been taken hostage.

Paris is in lockdown after a wave of attacks across the city has left dozens dead.

Eagles of Death Metal were performing at the French music venue Bataclan when terrorists opened fire. Singer Jesse Hughes, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and other members of the band are safe according to French band Red Lemons.

Mikel Ross, Eric McFadden, we were with your mates Jesse, [Hughes’ partner] Tuesday [Cross], the other musicians outside, they’re safe too, they took a cab.”

Opening act White Miles’ member Ben Gazey posted to Facebook “Just heard from the band and they’re safe.”

Multiple attacks occurred hours ago in the French capital. 26 people in total have so far been reported dead. 11 occurred in a restaurant. President Hollande has declared the country in a state of emergency and shut the borders.
